Students in 8th Grade were afforded the opportunity to work with expert circus acrobats at Xelias Aerial Arts on consecutive days during the first week of February.  Participants were exposed to gymnastic, acrobatic, and other physical skills designed to cultivate confidence, physical flexibility, and authentic athleticism. As Xelias' website says, "Xelias Aerial Arts Studio recognizes each individual’s raw talent and uses it as a base to build confidence, courage and strength through circus training.  Through the teaching and performing of circus arts, we help students develop the life skills of teamwork, discipline. perseverance and artistic athleticism.  In doing so, we nurture our students and keep the integrity and appreciation for the circus arts alive into future generations."
