On May 15, thirty-two students who take Chinese at Northeast Middle School went to Concordia Language Village in order to experience a bit of the language and culture they have been studying all year. The students participated in a full day of activities including calligraphy, cooking, and tea appreciation. Of course, they also had Chinese language instruction and opportunities to speak Chinese. One of the highlights was lunch where everyone practiced eating with chopsticks.
