The cast and crew of "Alice in Wonderland, Jr." performed to four enthusiastic audiences on Thursday, March 10th and Friday, March 11th.  Pillsbury and Waite Park elementary schools each visited Northeast Middle School for the matinee performances, and record crowds packed the auditorium for both evening performances.

After months of afterschool rehearsal and preparation, the performances included spectacular costumes, imaginative sets, big song and dance numbers, and plenty of witty repartee among the wide range of wacky characters. For more pictures of the cast, crew, and performances, visit Northeast Middle School Theater's Facebook page.

Sixty-five NEMS students participated in the production of "Alice in Wonderland, Jr." which was directed by theater artist and educator Dudley Voigt. Performing Arts teacher Kalie French was the Choreographer, and artist Sarah Greer was the Vocal Director. Several NEMS parents were also involved in the production including Kim Rheaume as Constume Designer, Mike McQuiston as Set Designer, and Steve Widstrand as Publicity Designer.

Of course, many more parents, teachers, staff members, and community members were involved in making "Alice" a success, and a BIG THANKS goes out to everyone who helped. Especially to the students who invested so much time and energy to the show -- you did a fantastic job!
