The Middle Years IB program is designed to develop the intellectual, personal, emotional, physical, creative, and social skills students need to thrive in a rapidly globalizing world. Through the IB Learner Profile, Northeast students and staff use a common language to describe behaviors of successful learners as we strive to be Inquirers, Knowledgeable, Thinkers, Communicators, Principled, Open-Minded, Caring, Risk-Takers, Balanced, and Reflective.
The NEMS bands and choir are having a busy spring with performances at school and throughout the community.

NEMS ETS kids went to St. Olaf College in Northfield with their mentors on April 24 for a day of college life.
April 12-18 was National Volunteer Week. Thank you to all of our wonderful parents and community members who have volunteered their time, skills, and energy to Northeast Middle School! This spotlight is a special thank you to two of our volunteers.
