After many weeks of hard work, competition at the Minnesota First Lego League Tournament was intense.
Before Saturday's competition, participating teams designed, assembled, and programmed their lego robots to perform a number of complex tasks. Then the competition included a series of “head-to-head” pairings where robots performed for points while racing against each other and the clock. Additionally, each team was judged on their research skills, teamwork, and interviewing skills.
Northeast Middle School had multiple entries in the competition, including participants from both GISE (boys’ robotics) and GEMS (girls’ robotics), all of whom demonstrated ingenuity, intelligence, and never-give-up spirit!
