Students Travel to Washington, D.C.

After fundraising efforts and planning meetings, five Northeast Middle School students traveled with our IB Coordinator, Laurie Lamberty, to the nation's Capitol. They had a very full intinerary during their three day visit; here is a list of the main attractions they visited:

Newseum, Arlington National Cemetary, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Kennedy Gravesites, Iwo Jima Memorial, September 11th Pentagon Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, FDR Memorial, World War II Memorial, Washington Monument, Holocaust Museum, Ford's Theater and Museum Tour, The Smithsonian, Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, Mt. Vernon, Capitol Hill, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, National Archives, White House, Kennedy Center, U.S. Air Force Memorial, Eistein Statue, Postal Museum, National Zoo, Union Station, President Lincoln's cottage ... and even more!
