We are looking forward to the 2011-2012 school year, and we welcome new and returning families to our school. We thank those of you who continue to spread the good news about our school. It is this positive “word of mouth” that helped many of our new families choose Northeast Middle School.

We try to provide numerous opportunities for our students to experience a wide variety of activities as part of their learning. Please explore this website or speak with staff members about the Beacons afterschool program, academic support, intramural sports, and the performing arts. We encourage all to participate.

Throughout the year we will conduct standardized testing for our students. These tests will help us determine how well our students are doing in math, reading, and science. We will let you know when the tests are coming up and what you can do to help your student prepare.

Our effort to provide a well-rounded educational experience for all students requires everyone’s help. We know that – working together – we will make a positive difference in the lives of our students.
