NEMS Hosts True Food Taste Test
Monday, November 11, 2019 12:00 AM

Minneapolis Public Schools’ first True Food Taste Test of the 2019-2020 school year is coming up!

Northeast Middle School students, don’t miss a chance to try a sample of Three Sisters Soup in the cafeteria during lunch on Wednesday, November 13, Thursday, November 14, and Friday, November 15.

Three Sisters Soup is made with butternut squash, corn, and beans. These vegetables are known as the “three sisters” in many Native American cultures because of how they help one another grow when planted together. This taste test is a lead-up to MPS' American Indian Awareness & Family Involvement Week, which begins Monday, November 18.
